Tegile CEO sees potential for growth with HP purchase of Nimble
Rohit Kshetrapal, CEO of Tegile Systems, talked with SearchSolidStateStorage recently to discuss the changing storage market, including the move to all flash arrays, and the impact of the Hewlett Packard acquisition of Nimble Storage. He also discussed that status of any IPO for Tegile in the near future, and gave an account of why Tegile has moved back from the goal of going public in 2017. Brocade Channel Cheif discusses Arris/Ruckus-Brocade Integration

Many Verus customers have taken advantage of our low to free-cost assessments in the past. These typically are short, very specific assessment of a wireless network, or firewall settings. What some don’t realize is that Verus does many full-scale IT assessments of an entire IT infrastructure system for a company. It typically covers multiple locations, across multiple platforms (network analysis, server equipment, licensing, etc.).
Verus actually prefers to do these larger assessments over the smaller variety because it is a better way for both the customer and Verus to know the big picture needs.
A recent site discovery and analysis completed by Verus included the following:

Verus and WatchGuard bring Recipe for Success to fun night with customers
Verus and WatchGuard joined customers last month for an evening of fun, food and friendship at Kitchen Window in Uptown Minneapolis. The event included five courses, four of which were prepared in teams. Upon completion of the courses, everyone sat down together to enjoy the food.
Attendees enjoyed a pear and walnut endive bit appetizer, followed by a wheat berry and grilled lemon salad with a hefeweizen vinaigrette and artichoke dip fritter. The next course was a loaded potato dumpling with scallion and sour cream sauce. The main course was smoked flat-iron steak with a roasted cauliflower puree and Colonel Pabst glazed pearl onions. Finally, for desert, a flourless chocolate cake with stout caramel, chocolate malt cream and caramel crisp was shared.

Verus is officially kicking off our 15th Anniversary celebration with the unveiling of our 15 Year Logo last week. In October, 2002, four former employees of a telecom company decided to come together to create a company that did things differently. A company that was “true” to its employees, customers, and vendor partners. In fact, the name Verus is derived from the Latin word for “truth.”

February and March prize drawing winners named for Customer Surveys
In an effort to improve our customer service and technical skills at Verus, we would like to announce a new program that will give you, our customer, incentive to give us your insight and feedback into how we are doing in our work for you.
While we have always had a survey available for you to fill out upon completion of our work, beginning in February, we started to do a random prize drawing for survey respondents.
February’s winner was Michael Norton of Kennedy & Graven. He won a a Syma X5C Explorers 2.4G 4CH 6-Axis Gyro RC Quadcopter with HD Camera (pictured here).
The March prize drawing was won by Greg Thielsen of TSI Plastics, who won $50 in gift cards to Applebee’s Grill & Bar.

Food For Thought
Mango Chicken Quinoa Salad to freshen up your spring meals
Ingredients:
- 3 cups cooked quinoa
- 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 1 1/2 cup diced mango
- 1/2 of a large avocado, diced
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
- 1 tbs chopped green onion
- 1/3 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/3 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1 1/2 tbsp honey
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Toss quinoa, chicken, mango, avocado, cilantro, onion, and shredded coconut together in a large bowl.
- In a small jar or container whisk together olive oil, fresh lime juice, honey. Pour over salad and toss to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Chill for 1-2 hours before serving.
- Squeeze a little extra fresh lime juice before serving if desired.
