IT Service Desk Technician

Verus is looking for a client focused IT Service Desk Technician to provide remote technical support to our clients. This role is responsible for maintaining service excellence through:

  • Providing first level contact and communicating resolutions to customer issues
  • Monitor service desk for client submitted tickets and resolve based on priority
  • Install, support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues remotely
  • Properly escalating to senior engineers for next level support
  • Guide client end users through issue resolution process
  • Following up with customers to provide feedback and seek complete problem resolution
  • Documenting and maintaining customer service records
  • Utilizing excellent customer service skills to convert customers into fans
  • Other duties as directed

  • Ability to build and enhance positive working relationships with peers and clients
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Desire for continued learning and personal growth
  • Proficiency in MS Office products, Windows and MAC operating systems, Windows-based servers, remote support tools, basic understanding of computer networking, switching, firewalls and system setup and repair.
