The State of Password Security in 2022 [Infographic]

Organizations, IT departments, and end users are raising password security standards for one
reason: there is no other choice. To address this risk, organizations must adopt an identity-first
security approach including phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication (MFA) and understand the problem with passwords.

Gartner Peer Insights and Watchguard surveyed 100 IT and security professionals to understand if
companies are taking the necessary steps to enable a strong password security culture and posture.
