WatchGuard Internet Security Insights Q3, 2023

The WatchGuard Internet Security Insights Report for Q3 2023 is out and it highlights several key findings, including a 14% overall increase in network malware detections. The report also notes a significant increase in sophisticated and evasive threats, with a 129% rise in detections by the APT Blocker service. Zero-day malware, which evades signature-based protection, now accounts for 69% of all malware. Additionally, ransomware attacks saw a substantial increase, nearly 90%, indicating a growing threat.
